Our Mission

Crossfire is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and discipleship of those exploring their faith. As a followers of Jesus who are passionate about video games and other geeky pursuits, we believe we’re uniquely positioned to make a positive impact. Our Summer Games Camp ministry has already reached dozens of kids across the western USA, and our online ministry has reached geeks around the world. But our mission depends on the generosity of people that love Jesus and support our calling. We hope that’s what has brought you here.

How YOU Can Help

Our biggest needs center around our ability to expand our Summer Games Camp ministry. Our plan is to expand from discipling 30 kids in 2024 to more than 250 in the summer of 2025. We’ve succeeded in making an engaging and compelling experience for kids during our camps, and we know exactly what it will take to grow. We have the plan in place, but what we need to make it happen is Your Donation. Here are five specific needs that we have for the summer of 2025:

  • More Equipment ($7,000)
We need to double the number of Xbox Series S consoles that we have, with high quality gaming monitors to go with each of them. We need to buy additional networking equipment, additional controllers, additional rechargeable batteries, and associated charging equipment. If you can contribute even a small part of what we need, we would be deeply grateful. Reach out if you want more specifics.
  • Transport Trailer ($5,000)
We need a 6’x12′ dual axle fully enclosed trailer to be able to transport all of the equipment to all the cities we’ll be holding camps in during the summer of 2025. In order to make a compelling experience for kids, we need the right stuff – and having all that is like putting on a small traveling show. It won’t fit in a standard SUV anymore, but this trailer will support our ministry for years to come.
  • Food For Campers ($10,000)
We need to feed hundreds of campers in the summer of 2025! We’ve managed to optimize our meal and snack purchasing to get the cost down. We’ve learned a lot from running camps the last two summers. We know exactly what to buy to make meals that gaming kids want to eat that stretch our dollars to the absolute maximum. We need your help to buy what we need so that we can keep our camp entry fee as low as possible.
  • New Games! ($1,500)
We need to buy Game Pass subscriptions for our existing consoles, as well as certain key games that are not available on that service. Game Pass is an astounding service for us, and gives us so much of what we need for so little money – it represents just over a third of this cost and supplies more than 75% of the games we play. But Game Pass doesn’t get us everything we need, and so there are some key extra purchases that we need to make in order for our camps to be the best experience they can be. Some of the games we play aren’t digital – they’re tabletop games, and we need to buy physical copies of those. NOTE: All games we play are rated T for Teen and below, and are screened for age appropriateness.
  • Gas And Travel Expenses ($4,000)
We’re traveling thousands of miles across the western USA to reach gamers with a program that is impossible to do online. A lot of our other ministry is online, but our Gaming Summer Camps are special events that can only be done in person. That means we’ve got to get the people and the equipment where it needs to be. Plus our camp counselors need to eat too – they’re graciously volunteering their time and effort to lead kids in discipleship, but all that work requires fuel to keep it going!

Any Amount Helps!

We understand that you may not have thousands of dollars available to you to contribute to our mission. We want to reassure you that ANY amount you can give helps – and your donation is tax deductible if you live in the United States. If you have a specific category from the above that you want your donation to go toward, let us know! Thank your for your generosity. Your donation is helping to reach and disciple people with the message of the love of Jesus.

Thank you so much, from all of us –
